I am getting very confused, i have conflicting information from different places, the two data sheets have a page in with measurements of the chips both are identical in size, I have seen various videos with 328 and 168 nano's in it where the 168 is smaller. I am building a custom board for the 168 and have to make a footprint in the program, i have 328 chips on their own and have 168's on order I would like to have a PCB designed and ready for populating before the 168's arrive also I will need the quad equivalent of a ZIF, I have one and the 328 fits perfectly but if the 168 is smaller that will not fit.
Can any one help me with chip sizes preferably someone who has built a pcb with a 168 in it.
