Skype payphone

I everyone!

My project is I want to convert a standard payphone into a Skype phone that connects to a WiFi network without a computer and takes coins to operate. I think I could find a way to use the Connect.me from Freetalk (http://shop.skype.com/phones/phone-adapters/connect-me/) to get around the need for a computer interface, I'm still trying to figure out how to get it to be wireless. I was thinking for trying to use an arduino as a bridge between the Connect.me and the WiFi network. Also, I was thinking of using an arduino to manage the coin accepting mechanism. I don't know if I'm asking more from the arduino than it is capable of handling and should look for another technology or if this is right up arduino's alley. Obviously I am a major noob with arduino technology, and would love any advice at all.

You wouldn't want to use the Arduino as a WiFi bridge. Instead, you should look at using a WiFi to Ethernet bridge.
