Sleep/Wake Arduino

Hello all!

Any good trick out there to make Arduino sleep/wake for a specific amount of time, i.e. 5 hours?

Similar to the above link, however I also need to shut down attached shields (i.e. Data Logging Shield from Adafruit, and WiFly).

I don't know. I can't imagine those things drawing much power if the Arduino is chilling.

Maybe power those attachments through a transistor and have Arduino switch the power off to them before it takes a nap.
