I bought one of this pots and connected it to an Micro to use it in a window PC. First I connected it via the pins at the print, but it does not work. I knew the code was working because I used it for an simple rotary 10 k pot earlier. Then I observed the variable pin was connected via two capacitors. I shorted this out and everything works fine.
Anyone have an idea why this caps are there? Perhaps it is intended for another use?
