slip ring current rating

I would like to purchase this slip ring...

It claims 2A per circuit with #30 wire. Everything I see lists about .86A for #30 wire. What would be the correct current given that it has #30 wire?

seems to be pretty thick for 30 gauge, its probably a Chinese 24 gauge (ie 24 gauge worth of insulation and 30 gauge of metal)

.86A is the safer bet, I really wouldnt push it much further as the longer the wire, theres more resistance, and stuff gets hotter

If you dont need all 24 connections you can parallel some of them up for more current handling - and less chance of noise.
