slowing down the print output to the IDE

I am trying to write a program that appears to be speaking to viewer in an instructive way and I would like the printed statements to scroll out as if being typed quickly. I have not figured a way to do this. Any suggestions? JK

Send the characters from the arduino to the serial monitor at the same rate that you type. Pause between sentences.

char greeting[]={"Have a nice day!"} ;

int len = strlen( greeting );

for ( int i=0 ; i<len ; i++)
{
     Serial.print( (char)greeting[i] );
     delay(100);
}
Serial.println() ;

It works! Thanks. JK
