I'm building a small device, to be used in the home, that will need to be able to send data to the internet through a household wireless router. The solution needs to be very small and low power. I'd be willing to contract with someone to help with such expertise and required programming. Can anyone point me in the right direction? JP
You may use digi's xbee wifi s6b module for transmission, as long as the rest of the device has a micro controller capable of generating text info to send to xbee. Xbee has sleep mode. An xbee module is not cheap though. Around 40 USD.
