I am looking for a proximity sensor to hook up to my arduino that can detect distances between 0.5cm and 1cm with a latency of not more than 5ms. Basically a resolution that is close to 0.5cm and a range between 0.5 to 2cm will do. The smaller the size of the sensor the better. Which sensors will work best?
