Something weird happened to our Robot car. Kids says he just pressed number 5 on the remote (reset to default?) and then it stopped working. Which I dont think is the case. Whole thing is being powered but not moving when you press the buttons on the remote.
BUT! If we plug in the USB cable to the PC and to the Arduino board that is sitting underneath then it all works again. So something is not being powered properly cause some of the leds on both boards ar on w/o USB cable, but maybe not properly.
Tested to disconnect the boards from each other and reconnect but that did not help either.

Can you give us some tips on what we can try to get it to work again?
Your batteries might have enough power to make some things work (LEDs, for example), but not enough power to make the motors run. Check the level of the batteries.
Usb port on pc usually provides nuch less power than the battery. So i don't think the battery is the issue. But surely I will make a full charhe cycle. And test.
