SMBJ7.0A through hole substitute needed.

Am shopping on Digi-Key to get the recommended components I need to use AC to DC power supply I just bought. Papers call for SMBJ7.0A. All I can find is SMT components which is probably what the SM means? Would like a through hole so I can bread board it.

Spent a while on Digi-Key trying to find a Zener with similar specs but no luck. Can someone advise on a suitable replacement please?

Paper is here, I am building a 5vdc Supply.

Also I do not understand the symbol for NTC or MOV1. Are they Thermistors? What are the specs?

Thank You.

Compare the electrical characteristics of SMBJ7.0A with SA7.0CA
The through-hole version peak pulse power and current is a bit less ... Digi-Key

Will it be suitable for powering Breaduino?

NTC= negative temperature coefficient Thermistor
MOV = metal oxide varistor

The NTC protects the power supply input components from over current. The MOV absorbs high voltage spikes from the mains supply so they do not reach the power supply - up to the ability/rating of the device. Beyond the voltage/power rating, MOV's release their magic smoke with an audible pop ;)o

The drawing does not seem to give any ratings of NTC MOV. Is it a part number? Digi-Key is not producing anything for me. Need suitable parts please.

Thank You.

Is this the right MOV please?

I found lot's pf NTC Thermistors. Not sure how to interpret the 5D-9 marking.
Is MF72-5D9 the right part?
