I am looking for a sensor that will detect smoke. I have a 3D printer and I need to monitor it. That's why I'm considering buying a smoke detector. Can you recommend a functional sensor? If it would work via I2C, that would be great. Thank you very much.
IKEA sells them for 10 bucks - reliable, loud. You can tap wires to the speaker if you really want to.
Thanks, but I'm really looking for a sensor for arduino (I2C). I have several things wired to the arduino and I want to add smoke detection to it.
