Sorry for replying after 7 days. Been busy.
So for update:
-The uno still works. I've plugged several components into uno and it works just fine, so its only the heat that's been a concern, in which case, I been limiting on how long I'm powering it. It's not really an efficient safety measure but it's something to start with. Other than that, code still gets uploaded, components still receive data and the uno still provide power.
-As for the servo, I'm not exactly touching it until I have boards to spare in case it goes wrong and/or I have a project in mind for it. In any case, I'm buying some more parts and boards, like a nano (not sure which variation yet) for some small project, a mega for making a 3D printer as a fun project, and a genuine arduino uno this time. I have these sold locally and I don't really feel safe with sites like aliexpress.
