I am an owner of the snap circuits snapino I got for christmas. I was excited to use it. But, when I hooked it to the computer, I tried to load a program by following the instructions. I have the right drivers, I set the right board and port, and I tried the loopback test ( hooking tx and rx, hooking reset to gnd, and seeing if the serial moniter will echo back what you write) and none of those worked. Even when I pressed the reset button it did nothing. Hooking reset to gnd does nothing either. It starts up weird and the built in yellow led does not do a rapid blink at startup. When I tried the uploading, I got these two messages: stk500_recv() programmer is not responding, and stk500_getsync() not in sync. I also got the message saying configuration file does not exist or is not normal file. It also said problem uploading to board. The arduino board was an uno. I chose uno in the menu. The cpu it has is an atmega328p-pu. I tried turning on and off verbose output. I turned of proxys, bluetooth and wifi in the menu. The port I chose was usbmodem411. Is there anything I can do? Is my board maybe toasted? If you guys have any ideas, please reply. My other uno board appears to be working, But I can't put that in the snapino model because it's a tiny bit different and the uno board in the snapino model is already pre-wired so I can't just take it out. Thanks for any reply.
Can somebody please reply?
