Hi, guys!
For my project i need to use a stock RC-models of big commercial machinery as a source of signals for my laptop interactive presentation during exhibition.
So user may drive factory RC-model of tractor or bulldozer (for example, we have a range of nice HUINA models around). Completely in stock condition.
At same time i need to sniff a traffic between RC controls and bullzoder and understand what exactly vehicle is doing. (driving left/right, arm movement etc). With some hardware receiver, most probably Arduino based and connected to the USB port.
Based on this, my laptop software will generate some signals for interactive software presentation.
I suppose it is possible to reverse-engineering some RC protocols but i hope may be some already decoded protocols are around. So may be it could be easier just choose RC toys supplier with documented procotol?
Or they are heavy protected and for me better use simple sniffing of RC control keyboard?
Thanks in advance!
