Sorry if this has already been asked but can anyone point me in the right direction to obtain a socket to mount a nano onto a PCB.
I don't want to solder it directly onto the board but all the sockets I have seen so far only have 28 pins and not 30 as on the nano.

You can find the sockets on ebay, Header sockets.
Lots of different sized strips of female pinheaders are available as well, and those are dirt cheap.
Or get a bunch of the 40p headers and cut them to size. Then just solder the two strips at the correct width. That's the most flexible. Stick them on your Nano when soldering to hold them in place and nice and straight.
Search eBay for Arduino headers . I just bought a pack 15 way for Nano.
I doubt you’ll find a DIL type socket .
You can buy breakout shields etc for NANO or have a look at designing a PCB
Thanks Hammy,
Yes I was beginning to realise that proper DIL sockets were not available.
Anyway I've decided to get some female header strips and cut them to length.
