Soda dispenser remake

I want to upgrade/make a new soda dispenser(i am going to use it to put some soda/water and Non-Carbonated Drinks), since my first own is not working well and is not good to drink every day, since I used normal water pumps and some tube that are not sanitary at all

I was looking at this design Make Your Own Arduino Soda Fountain out of Cardboard - YouTube and I was wondering if it is good and safe to drink and if this also works with water and Non-Carbonated Drinks?
And if I can should I use instead of some buttons to control it a LCD With Touchscreen or an old iPad I have and make a web server on a node mcu or on some type of local server?
And if I would also want to use some sort of sensor to stop the flow, witch one should I use?
I am a kinda new to arduino but I want to get better.

Sorry I am not into UT videos. Do a bit of research and I believe you will find where it has been done with an Arduino. Soda machines like other food devices need to be cleaned and sanitized on a regular basis, if not you can get deathly sick from the contents. Use food grade components to be safe.

I was looking into Peristaltic Pumps, witch i can combine with a food safe tube that i can clean, but they are quite slow, i also saw solenoid valves using gravity but i rly dont know how i would clean that.

Peristaltic pumps come in various capacities and pressures. I have seen them beyond 100 GPH (Gallons Per Hour) with pressures exceeding 100 PSIG (Pounds Square Inch Gauge). You can use a bigger one, they just cost more. I would stay with the pump, if you use valves you will have to have pressure to make the valves work.
