Software freezes

Hi, I just bought an Arduino Deumilanove (I got it with Atmega328P-20PU.(don't know why, I thougt there is atmega168 in arduino)). I have downloaded the latest software 0013 for windows(I have XP), installed drivers....(blah, blah, I followed instructions in "getting started"...) When I click on Upload, the software freezes an TX is blinking endlessly. I tried to change USB ports, but it didn't help. When I unplug the USB cable, the software unfreezes, and it says: Binary sketch size: 1414 bytes (of a 14336 byte maximum)

avrdude: ser_drain(): read error: The I/O operation has been aborted because of either a thread exit or an application request.

I have Logitech G13 keyboard, but I don't have that process mentioned in troubleshooting. I have tried stopping everything - antivirus software(Nod32), Firewall(Outpost), Logitech processes etc. but nothing helped. Please help!

//Oh and sorry for bad english, I'm Slovak...

Have a look into your Tools->Board menu. Is there an entry like “Arduino w/ atmega328” ? If so, give it a try.

Oh it is solved, sry :D I just read this http://arduino.cc/blog/?p=207 I must change the board in menu...
