So i want to start making my own boards and i was wondering what is a cheap SAFE way to put solder mask on? Or something that looks and works like solder mask.
The PCBs that i use already have a layer of solder mask, on the board not the copper though, so when you solder in between small spaces its prevents bridging etc... how ever the protective solder mask over the actual traces i have seen it somewhere but i do not recall, it was called something along the lines of UV solder ink, they have the thermal type which you have to heat (bake) the board , and then they have one that was photosensitive. search for pcb ink or uv solder mask..
Where would one find the bake solder mask cause i dont want to deal with uv light. Also where can i get the pre applied solder mask pcb boards?
