OK, that is neat! I almost can't believe it works. Does he have a servo turning on the drill using a ruler as a linkage???

that is a good project but where does it have any real use...
who has to spool all their solder...
The guy in the video says he sells intro-to-soldering kits with 1 oz. spools of solder, so presumably this spooler is to take solder off a big roll and put it onto small rolls for sale.
