So I;m thinking about using the arduino as a cap charger/measurer.. and the fire mechanism...

As I can kind of program but I am lost in the electrical part of it all...

A little help concerning these soleniods and cap drivers and firing... and maybe well an lcd screen... but who knows maybe it's be better if you were to contoll it from your phone anyway for test phase..

I hope you folks will be able to help me with this, as I am a machinist by trade and that electronic stuff is a bit confusing!

It would help if we knew which solenoids "these solenoids" are...

I want to make my own solenoid An that's probably the most difficult part... electronics wise..

I'd really appreaciate a tool that would allkow me to design the solenoid without much mishap..

by these solenoids he means solenoids used in commercial airguns... a solenoid strikes a hammer valve and that releases air which propels ammo through the barrel

ohh well you might as well google it

not to sound like a dick but this forum is not the best place to discuss solenoid hammer valves... if you've got questions like 'is this code ok' then I guess there are ppl who can help you
...but if you're talking about specific application then you should find an airgun forum to get all the info you need
