[solved]Blink sketch working but my sketch doesn't

I try to use a 4 digit 7 segment display, but i can't get the outputs to work.
I tried uploading the blink sketch but that is working.

int numcathodes = 4;
int numanodes = 8;
int cathodes[4] = {A0, A1, A2, A3};
int anodes[8] = {4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11};

void setup() {
  for (int i = 0;1 < numcathodes;i++) {
    pinMode(cathodes[i], OUTPUT);
  }
  for (int i = 0;1 < numanodes;i++) {
    pinMode(anodes[i], OUTPUT);
  }
  Serial.begin(9600);
}

void loop() {
  for (int i = 0;1 < numcathodes;i++) {
    digitalWrite(cathodes[i], HIGH);
  }
  for (int i = 0;1 < numanodes;i++) {
    digitalWrite(anodes[i], HIGH);
  }
  delay(100);
  Serial.println("loop");
}

As you see I already tried to debug but I get nothing on the serial monitor.
Thanks for any advice!
(using arduino nano with external power)

Look carefully at the condition in your for loop expressions

thank you, but it is still not working.
also fixed that both were HIGH.
not working means all pins are LOW.

Did you fix them all?

(What does "working" mean to you?)

got it working!
i forgot the "1"'s in the 2 for loops in setup()
thank you!
