[solved] Broken BETA installation -can't install 1.8.13

Hi, I need help!

I had installed BETA because of the issue with broken package info.

Now I wanted to de-install it and install 1.8.13. But there was no uninstall. Install 1.8.13 requested to uninstall, but silently exited.

Deleting Arduino didn't help.

Install 1.8.13 requests to uninstall, but silently exits.

How to proceed, please.

neither arduino-1.8.12-windows.zip nor arduino-1.8.13-windows.zip have an unistall.exe, so this doesn't work either.

CLEAN UP BEFORE INSTALLING ANOTHER COPY OF THE IDE OR ARDUINO CREATE.pdf (347 KB)

The solution was quite easy: I found an Arduino 1.8.9 installation on a notebook I rarely use.

Copied the uninstall.exe to the manually re-installed version 1.8.12 that couldn't be uninstalled, run uninstall.exe, and then could run the 1.8.13 version installer arduino-1.8.13-windows.exe.

The newly installed Arduino 1.8.13 does have an uninstall.exe, so everything should be fine.
