[SOLVED] Can't upload code to Arduino Uno from several PCs

Hey,

since yesterday I'm unable to upload new code to my Arduino Uno board. When I press the Upload button everything works as usual, but when the loading bar is at about 90% and the message "Binary Sketch size: (...)" appears, the uploading process gets "stuck", and so does the development kit. Only by pressing the reset button on the board the process can be cancelled (or by closing the development kit).

Uploading from Atmel Studio does not work either.

There could be a Windows problem though; my mentor and my collegues in lab experienced the same issue. If anyone got any idea what we could do, please tell.
