About a few months ago, I bought a pack of 3 Arduino Nano clones I bought off of Amazon for $10. They use either the CH340 or CH341 driver, not sure which one. They used to work, but since I updated my Arduino IDE to 1.8.12, it has stopped working with it, complaining about some not in sync error. By the way, 2 of the Nanos were working, but the other Nano had a not in sync error before.
Select Tools > Processor > ATmega328P (Old Bootloader) and then try uploading again.
That did not work, but using the Arduino as ISP example I got all 3 of my nano's to function normally. Now i got 5 arduinos (what will i do with all of them)
I'm glad to hear you got them working.
You can have a lot of fun with those 5 Arduinos. I always like to have one of each board for development and one of each as a backup in the event of a "magic smoke incident". The other three are waiting to become part of a cool project. Enjoy!
