[SOLVED] Compiler Warning from Built-In SD Library

Has anyone else experienced the warning below? If so, what did you do to fix it?

Thanks.

C:\Program Files (x86)\Arduino\libraries\SD\src\SD.cpp: In function 'open.constprop':
C:\Program Files (x86)\Arduino\libraries\SD\src\SD.cpp:462:14: warning: 'pathidx' may be used uninitialized in this function [-Wmaybe-uninitialized]
     filepath += pathidx;
              ^
C:\Program Files (x86)\Arduino\libraries\SD\src\SD.cpp:456:9: note: 'pathidx' was declared here
     int pathidx;
         ^

Here's a clip from the SD.cpp file that's causing the warning.

456    int pathidx;
457
458   // do the interactive search
459    SdFile parentdir = getParentDir(filepath, &pathidx);
460   // no more subdirs!
461
462    filepath += pathidx;
463
464    if (! filepath[0]) {
465      // it was the directory itself!
466      return File(parentdir, "/");
467    }

I would follow this suggestion from one of Arduino's firmware developers:

Fix a compiler warning for uninitialized 'pathidx' variable by ultr · Pull Request #48 · arduino-libraries/SD · GitHub

Thank you. I didn't find that in GitHub.

You're welcome. I'm glad if I was able to be of assistance.

May all your compilations be without warnings!
