[SOLVED]hc06 bluetooth problems connecting

When I try to pair my Hc06 to a phone, it says "paired but not connected".
I've tried resetting the Hc06, different input voltages, and unpairing and pairing
but nothing seems to work. Any ideas?

Paired but not connected means there is no app using it, so nothing is connected to it. All "paired" means is you don't have to enter in the pairing code when an application connects to it.
