[SOLVED] Iphone Bluetooth keyboard

Hi all,

I would like to turn it around. There are many questions about how to use your iphone to control an arduino. But I would like to know if it would be possible to make a numeric keyboard for an iphone...

It is easy to turn a leonardo into a keyboard, but how difficult would it be to :

  1. Make the Iphone recognize an arduino as keyboard (via Bluetooth or USB)
  2. Make it fast and reliable.

You need some low power Bluetooth module that also does hid but most of us only have experience with Bluetooth with serial port. Try some search.

I thought I have seen this before. By default you get 12 buttons. If you use an arduino, you can have it send any keys.

I've got one of those modules, and it seems to work quite well. I've not tried controlling it with an Arduino yet, but it works fine with my iPhone.
