[SOLVED] Mega2560 R3 - can't upload...

Hi,
I’ve recently acquired Mega2560 R3 and… I can’t upload anything with arduino 1.0.4.
LED blinks as it should. I did loopback test - worked OK. But still - can’t upload anything. Output attached and a few lines below…
I reinstalled drivers, I burned firmware to ATmega16U2 (using Dragon), I burned bootloader (Dragon again) - still doesnt work.
I can burn sketches using Dragon but it’s a pain… Why is Arduino “upload” doesn’t work…? Any ideas…?

Using Programmer : wiring

Which board do you have selected?

If you can get a sketch into the Mega with a programmer, you could make a sketch that reads and writes to the serial monitor. That way you could check if the serial path from the Arduino the the PC is okay.

Tried basic sketch - no luck (same error)
Burned (with Dragon) basic serial communication sketch (serial read/write) - worked perfectly...
Burned bootloader again (with Dragon) - the problem still there -can't upload any skecth with arduino...

I'm selecting "Arduino Mega2560 or Mega ADK", selecting AVRISP mkII as programmer, selecting correct COM port - doesn't work..

Any ideas? I'm running out of options...

Will try that... Just small update - I tried it on my Mac and it worked perfectly... Looks like the board is OK.
What is wrong with my windows usb/port...? Serial comms works perfectly fine and eve though can't upload any sketch...

[UPDATE] Tried Arduino 1.0.1 - no luck - same error...

[UPDATE 2] -now solved... Changed USB port and... it worked!
