I think I'm good on ohm's law. BTW, I have a lot of op amp experience, but this isn't an application I have experienced. I did a lot if DeviceNet work at Applied Materials and I'm familiar with termination resistors to prevent relected wave on long transmission lines.

Wasn't saying you were misunderstanding those particular things, just that they're things I've seen other people think.

I doubt there's anyone on this planet that knows all the things op amps can do. Everyone's going to have something new to discover. It's amazing how two simple constraints (I+ = I- = 0 and V+ = V-) can make a component such a versatile Swiss Army knife.
