I'm here for the first time and right off the bat I hijacked somebody's post. Not sure where this post is going so if someone could point me in the right I'd appreciate it. Anyway...I solved that problem and ran into another. I was testing the sketch for the stepper motor. I checked all the connections and they are right. The green led on the power module goes dim and the four leds on the stepper motor drive module also go very dim. The motor itself hums for a few seconds then stops and hums again but doesn't turn. Thanks in advance.

My first guess would be insufficient power.
Your schematic shows you are powering the circuit from the Arduino.
No, wait, there is no schematic.
Your batteries are dead.
What, you aren’t using batteries, hum . . . .
Hi,
Welcome to the forum.
Please read the first post in any forum entitled how to use this forum.
http://forum.arduino.cc/index.php/topic,148850.0.html then look down to item #7 about how to post your code.
It will be formatted in a scrolling window that makes it easier to read.
Can you please post a copy of your circuit, in CAD or a picture of a hand drawn circuit in jpg, png?
Thanks.. Tom....
spycatcher2k:
So -
No code !
No Schematic !
No clear description of the wiring !And you expect a solution?
I'll rebuild the circuit then post an image of it. I beg your indulgence as I learn my way around. Oh...and I read some of the stickies. At least now I know where to go for real insight.

Yes and a copy of your circuit, in CAD or a picture of a hand drawn circuit in jpg, png?
