EDIT(5 minutes after making the post lol): Solved. I just had to select the old bootloader
I have an Arduino uno that I got familiar playing around with, and decided to buy the Nano. I got the Elegoo arduino nano on amazon, and I can't seem to get it to work.
It uses a CH340G chip, and I have the drivers installed on my computer.
The baud rate wasn't 9600 initially, so I set it to 9600.
Now I have a sketch open that works on my Uno.
I select Arduino Nano on the IDE, and change the port as well to the CN340 COM7 port.
When I click upload sketch, the progress bar freezes at 99% and eventually throws this error:
Arduino: 1.8.7 (Windows Store 1.8.15.0) (Windows 10), Board: "Arduino Nano, ATmega328P"
Sketch uses 994 bytes (3%) of program storage space. Maximum is 30720 bytes.
Global variables use 9 bytes (0%) of dynamic memory, leaving 2039 bytes for local variables. Maximum is 2048 bytes.

Problem uploading to board. See http://www.arduino.cc/en/Guide/Troubleshooting#upload for suggestions. This report would have more information with
"Show verbose output during compilation"
option enabled in File -> Preferences.
When I switch back to my Uno, it works just like before. Did I get 3 defective nanos?
