[Solved] Selected board and port not displayed in menu

When selecting a port and a board, the selection gets not displayed in the drop down menu.

OS: OSX 10.11.5
Browser: Safari 9.1.1
Driver: ArduinoCreateAgent 1.1

Thanks for your report @mamu, can you show us a screencast or screenshot?

In the web editor I click on "Board at cu.wchusbserial14130", choose my Nano clone and hit "Ok".
After that the menu look like this and I have no clue which port and board is selected:

Ok got it, we are going to open an issue and look into that, FYI this is not a high priority cause it relates to clones :frowning: I am going to se if we can send you board since you are contributing a lot :slight_smile:

I do not expect that you support all clones but I think it would be alright displaying the selected board name (here Nano) and port.
I noticed that you correctly identified my Yun over Wifi connection (which is cool).

Have you already fixed this?
As of now, 16:49 CET, I see "Board at cu.wchusbserial14130 as Arduino Nano" in the board drop down menu!

That is curious

It still does not how up when the menu is collapsed but it's ok this way.

this is how it should look :slight_smile: not sure what happened yesterday. We are working on an improvement so the metadata about the clone board will be remembered and you won't have to select it all the time :slight_smile:

We restructure this whole feature, let us know if you still see weird behaviors.

To me this is fixed.
Board name is displayed in dropdown menu caption.
