@Robin2 If you've been referring to the use of a WiFi (or similar) system this is starting to make sense, but even the routers you linked are rated to transmit through "three floors in some buildings", unreasonably large and power heavy, and frankly from what I've seen I believe a more cost effective option could very well exist. If my approach was more oriented on making a network I would consider such a router (one much more powerful) but from what I have perceived it is muchless power intensive to transmit with a more powerful signal than to receive a weak one, and since I haven't seen any routers YET that would meet my range requirement I've not considered it.
