SOLVED: Troubleshooting NRF24L01

I am trying to get NRF24L01 working with Arduino Micro. So far my attempts have been failing grandiosely, meaning that it's not working at all :(

The call to printDetails() returns nothing but zeros, this surely indicates some basic problem. Any ideas?

Care to explain which wires you had mixed up? I'm experiencing the same issue and I catch myself checking all connections and the issue persists. I was further off earlier until I removed the horrible breadboard.
