[SOLVED] WebServer example for Ethernet library

I have the Ethernet shield attached to my Arduino Uno R3.

I am using the WebServer example.

When the sketch first runs I get the following on the Serial Monitor window:

server is at 192.168.0.103

Can someone explain why there are two connections the second time?

This double connection happens with Chrome and Opera, but not with Firefox. .

Some browsers request a favorite icon after they make a request to a site. That is probably why you see favicon.ico.
