That's because is declared after that line. So at the time of that line, it does not exist yet.
En even if it was, 'TempDC' is just initialized to 0 so assigning it to 'ftempdc' does not make sense.
But because of terrible variable names, even more terrible String use and no comments I'm not sure what you want it to do.
Jezzzzz, don't be an ass and just leave you're code and question!

This is a public forum. People help each other for free, and this makes the forum a huge database of questions and answers that other people can search through when they're facing problems.
Deleting your question after you got help is pointless and selfish.
Many people have the same questions, and answering the same question over and over again is not something we're interested in. Instead, people search the forum, to find our original answer, and if they do need extra help, we can point them to one of the previous threads on the topic.
If everybody just deleted their posts, this would be impossible.
Please don't delete your own posts, it'll hurt the community in the long run.
