Act the same as a Ping)))?

It is possible to make an H-bridge with mosfets (IRF540)
And use them with the arduino?

Would this act the same as a Ping)))?

It appears to be functionally very similar (wth a bit better specifications) but the interface is dramatically different. Access to the Sunrom device is via TTL serial. Access to the Ping is via a pulsed pin.

I think that because of the serial interface it is not so hard on the Arduino that is hosting it, as compared to the one that needs to be pulsed.

One thing i noted in the datasheet is that it outputs the distance with 2 decimals in centimetres, but it has an accuracy of +/- 1 cm, that is a seriously good waste of a decimal point and two characters :-)

So if i insert this deviece instead of the ping, It would not work?

You’d have to modify your software, but as it stands, no it wouldn’t work.
