Something's broken on the Mac 1.6.3 install

Arduino 1.6.3 yields a folder with a unix executable labeled arduino. Running it generates an error in terminal shown below:

Last login: Sat May 2 10:35:33 on ttys000 Mac-mini:~ User$ /Applications/arduino-1.6.3/arduino ; exit; readlink: illegal option -- f usage: readlink [-n] [file ...] Error: Could not find or load main class processing.app.Base logout

[Process completed]

Is installing arduino really this complicated?

What is it you are trying to do? To run Arduino just double-click on arduino-1.6.3 in your Applications folder.

I installed the latest Java library, and downloaded Arduino 1.6.3 again. This time I got the arduino app in my downloads folder. So it works as I had originally expected. Still not sure what happened the first time.
