Songle 30A Relay

Hi guys

I ordered a 5v low trigger 30A relay as I need to switch a mains (230v) 15 amp load, when the thing arrived it really does not look like it could handle 15A never mind 30A, in fact the terminals would not take a big enough cable. Do any of you have any experience with these relays. Its branded Songle "SLA-05VDC-SL-0C.
Thanks.

If you don't like it, don't use it
Did you notice that the coil demands 180mA so you'll need some form of driver

Why not use a logic level ssr module such as one of these http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/New-SSR-50DA-DC-AC-Input-3-32VDC-Load-240VAC-DC-to-AC-Solid-State-Relay-Module/251809778901?_trksid=p2047675.c100008.m2219&_trkparms=aid%3D444000%26algo%3DSOI.DEFAULT%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D37255%26meid%3D822bc76ddec945d9b3fbb109aea5a71e%26pid%3D100008%26rk%3D1%26rkt%3D6%26sd%3D261744930493

Hi,
This the datasheet for it,

https://arduino-info.wikispaces.com/file/view/SLA-05VDC-SL-C_Datasheet.pdf/577719703/SLA-05VDC-SL-C_Datasheet.pdf

I use these type of relays in repair of Test and Tag equipment where they switch 25Amps.
The relays I use are of the same form factor and pin gauge, but I prefer to use.

This is a 24Vcoil but the documentation indicates other coil voltage.

Tom...

Thanks guys
