sound sensor

I have a problem to do a sound sensor circuit that measures the sound and turn some LEDs on depending on the strength of the sound. if I tried to combine the two circuits shown down, it would work porperly.?!

This is the circuit:-

Looks OK but without values you can’t be sure. I would worry about the input to that op amp.

I thought you wanted to measure sound........... That circuit has a photodiode as it's input.

Yup, I want to change the photodiode to make it measure the sound.

Well that circut certainly won't do it!

Whast sort a microphone are you intending tho use? how loud are the sounds you want to switch at?

Over what frequency band do you want to run?

Fantastic, you post a circuit and ask if it will work and then say you are going to change it and the circuit is not the one you want to use at all.
I had assumed that the 555 timer was generating the tone you wanted to measure but no. What a ****ing time waster you are.
