With the advent of Windows 8+, where x64 driver signature enforcement is important for Arduino to work correctly, it has turned out to be problematic. I would like the Arduino designers to please release the source codes for all Arduino boards, or if they are available, where can I find them? This is to ensure that instead of using a specific Atmel IC for USB comms, another IC with proper USB driver support (in DIP package, for example PIC18F2550) may be used for USB comms for the greater good. Why not use already available signed drivers rather than hacking the system always!!!!
