Sparkfun buttonpad SPI.

Hi.

I just bought a few of these : Button Pad Controller SPI - WIG-09022 - SparkFun Electronics .

I'm having trouble interfacing it with arduino.
Sparkfun gives no example code, and all the code I can find is either incomplete or broken.

Has anybody here ever got it to work with arduino and would like to share code ?

SparkFun has some good stuff, but their documentation is always pretty minimal or at least not in the tutorial mode, where you can learn how, not just what.
