Hi all
I have searched for any topic on this but to no avail. I have a project where I collect compass (HMC6343), engine temperature(Wema temperature sensor on cooling water) and engine rpm from the alternator. In addition to this, the lcd brightness is regulated by a potmeter. However it may seem that the LCD draws so much current every time it refreshes the screen that the readings on the analog inputs (pot and temp sensor) are jumping up and down. Can this be the case, does anyone have any experience with this? Should I supply power to the LCD from outside the arduino? Also, it seems that the lcd backlight takes power from the input pin when I disconnect the 5V power...
