Sparkfun TLC5940 breakout with LEDs

Hi guys. I'm using a pair of sparkfun TLC breakouts to controll single colour leds. To save space in my project box I was wondering if I could hook all the cathodes to one of the VCC outs and the anodes to each of the SCLK pins. Rather than one VCC and SCLK for each led.

I've seen the schematic but as driving basic leds doesn't use the ground pins I'm not fully sure

The TLC5940 is a sinking driver; the outputs act like GND when switched on. VCC connects to all of the anodes; the cathodes connect to separate output pins.

Those output pins aren't "SCLK"; there's only one pin for that. You're just misreading the labeling.

I see. That explains alot, I was wondering where ground came into it. So on the breakout board, the 15 VCC pins are all just connected together and no need to use them all.
