"Specified file is not valid Intel HEX file"

Hi - ( am not sure if this is the correct place to post this query, kindly help if anybody has a solution)

When I try to download a hex image thorugh AVRJATG ICE MK II on Chipcon 2420DB board, I get the following message and download is unsuccessful:

"The specified file is not a valid Intel HEX file"

I am using the AVR Studio 4, IDE

However I am able to read the flash memory of the board. And can successfully download the read hex file.

This forum is for thr Arduino board and its IDE, so you may not have very much luck with AVR Studio queries here!
