How often runs a the void loop per minute if there is nothing which stops the program?

Someone here posted about 5microseconds for a simple count loop, so around 12 million times.
Of course, you could try it...

Your measurement will slow it down.

Why does this matter?

11 clock cycles if there are no Serial events (Thats for the ATmega1280, based on the generated assembler). So that equates to 1.45 million calls per second for a 16MHz clock if it is doing nothing at all.
It strikes me as a useless statistic as in reality.

Depends what is in the loop. So really, the answer is undefined. Who cares? Either it does what it has to, or it doesn't.
