SPI 5v to 3.3v on a Microchip Serial Flash

Hello, here is the datasheet for the device I need to power. http://ww1.microchip.com/downloads/en/DeviceDoc/25045A.pdf

I have a Teensy which only gives 5V out so I need a voltage regulator I suppose to get it down to 3V. The smaller the better (I think it only needs a max of 30mA). I'd like a self-contained unit that doesn't require much soldering.

If I power the Teensy at 5V are the logic levels for the SPI going to be a problem if they go to this microchip flash? (Will they be too high of a voltage?)

Thanks!

The spec you linked to says 2.7-3.6V so it would be very unwise to exceed that spec.

Pete

It says DC rating of Vdd+0.5V for any pin, so no you can't use 5V signals.
