Hi, I have a VB application where with I send serial value's to the arduino over a serial connection. The value's are splitted by a comma so it's formatted like this: value1,value2,value3.
Also I managed that value1 and 2 are always 5bits and value3 is always 4 bits.
How can I, each time I loop, put the new values in variables called let's say xpos, ypos, button.
I hope you understand what I'm trying to do and can give me some advice or an example.

That depends on how you are sending the data (what application, what format) and how you are collecting it on the Arduino (string? String? no collection).

Where IS your code?
The facts I stated were VB (visual basic) and PC side. So I have no code yet for the arduino to read the serial input. The serial communication happens at a baud of 9600 and the value's are sent as a String.
