Hello, I thought I might let the community throw a few ideas and maybe give some others the idea of this and see if anyone would do it and am considering doing it myself.
In the town I live in we have a large forest with a lot of Victorian and mining history as well as well known ghost and haunting tales about it rumours of all those in the village next to it know the story's of devil worshippers up there in the night and noises as well as the long history of suicides off the disused viaduct that was previously used for filming the omen and a lot believe it is haunted I myself must add we used to drive up there in the dark and have seen people running about the woods in a few cloaks and strange noises and found dead animals (probably just a cult).
Now imagine if for pure entertainment on whether I can see if we can get this widely noticed by all the dog walkers up there and maybe papers could we add some extra truth into this whole haunted scenario.
The cap park where a lot of stoner's like to hang out is just down from the supposedly haunted circle in the woods and there are a lot of tall trees. If I designed a box with a large say 4 lithium 11.8v batteries and an arduino with a range of sensors (heat, humidity, barometric pressure, sound) and put it up at the top of one of these large oak trees with maybe a small solar and set it so it only triggered on certain days at a specific period during the night when it detects motion or sound matching the frequency of peoples voices to use a loud echoing speaker to play maybe a screach or scream with a flash from a strobe tube.
How far could I take this idea and how well would it work, it would certainly attract attention and if I gave it time do you reckon I could get most haunted up there chasing there tales there's no signal up there anyhow adding to the effect.
Any comments anybody done something like this before?
