The Old Forum had the "eyeglasses" so you could tell at a glance if you've participated in a given thread while viewing the list. What is the equivalent in the New Forum?
Clicking on your avatar works for most of my needs.
Not really the same. That doesn't indicate if / when a new post (by someone else) has occurred in the thread since I last opened it. The old "eyeglasses" made it really easy to spot.
If you've participated, I believe you should see your avatar in the list to the right of the topic name. I'm not sure how it handles the situation where many people have participated in the topic meaning it's not possible to show all the avatars, but I'd expect that it would always put priority on showing yours.
If you have participated, any new replies will show up under "UNREAD". The link in the header is for ALL forums. If you are viewing a particular subsection, there will be an UNREAD link for that. Both have their respective counts.
Also, clicking on your icon in the upper right corner will show you the latest notifications. Those will show people replying, 'heart'ing, mentioning your name, or marking one of your replies as a solution.
So, bottom line, there's no truly equivalent feature.
